Sweet Potato Fries Shop #OreldaFries
We went shopping at Sam's Club for Heinz Sweet Potato Fries. I love Sam's Club. The prices are great and I love to buy in bulk when it saves me money. We were shopping around a lot and checking out the whole store. I love that you can get gifts and food all in the same place. One stop shop in my book! While I was searching for some sweet potato fries, I can across some awesome deals! Like a HUGE box of eggo waffles for just under 8 bucks! I also saw some Fruit Simple in packs of two. I bought some fruit simple previously and loved it, so I snatched up some for the way home! I also got a big box of cereal. They also had some really fun looking products like a small trampoline and of course the electronic section!
The workers in Sam's club were really nice and all smiles. We had a fun time I guess you could say shopping. I went shopping with my friend, her husband, and our kiddos. We took a picture of our awesome stroller at Sam's Club. Sam's club is so big, yes you can bring a stroller in and have plenty of room to stroll around. They also offer huge carts to fill!
When we got their they were out of sweet potato fries! So we were at a loss. I saw some other sweet potato fries there but the Heinz looked better. So I was disappointed they did not have anymore when I was told earlier that day they did. All to convenient the Walmart was across the street and I bought a bag. We had some chicken nuggets, corn, Heinz Or-elda Sweet Potato Fries with fluff dipping sauce. Yes, we bought some marshmallow fluff to dip the fries in. My kids loved it! There were no fries left on the pan! I love the fries too, they are crispy and well I also love sweet potatoes, so thats a double score! These will be fries we buy often for quick dinners.

Briggs And Riley Shop #BRXtravelgear
We went shopping at the Vanity Fair Shops. We stopped at Designer luggage. I was going to buy the new BRX line. They were all out! So to me that was a sign they were a great product. They had plenty of other Briggs and Riley. We were buying luggage for our trip to Roanoke in North Carolina. We stayed at a beach house that was huge! I went shopping with my husband and two kids!
We were going to Philadelphia Outlets but the luggage store was closed down and not there. I am so glad we ended up going to Designer Bags. I looked online and knew what I wanted. I thought the toiletries bag was so cute! The items I purchased I will be using all the time. I carry my lap top everywhere with me. I always have so much work to do. I can even put so much more in the business case and still have room. The smaller bag I use for over night trips or for my kids going to grandmoms house. I not only used these bags for our vacation but continue to use them. They are so convenient and reliable, I love them! When we got home, we had to pack right away from shopping. So we packed, Loaded up the car and we were off the next morning at 6am! The store I shopped at, had really nice workers. The workers knew a lot about Briggs and Riley Travel Gear They only spoke great things about the brand and how they have customers come back all the time and only buy their Travel GearIf I could change anything my shopping trip it would be they weren't out of the new BRX line. They said they didn't get much in yet. They offered to order me some and give me a discount. I had my vacation VERY SOON. So I did not have time to wait. I am really happy with what I got. I loved all the info that was passed along to me from the sale people!
I went to the store to buy the BRX style from Briggs and Riley but the Luggage store was completely sold out. They offered to order me anything in their catalog book and give me a discount. If my vacation would not have been the next day, (yes we are procrastinaters for packing!) I would have ordered it. In stead I bought another one of their lines and love it just as much! While it's not the BRX line. I would gladly be going back to buy more! I love what they have to offer and so glad I got my collection started!

Funny Honey Pound Cupcakes
So I was bored and thought I love to bake, why not use my baking stuff to make something. My cabinets were bare! So I choose to make pound cake, MY FAVE! I tweaked it a little bit!
Let me start off by saying I am a "closet baker" I love baking, I would do way more if I had a bigger or better kitchen! Also I have no fancy baking aids! I use my hands and my nifty wisk! This is baking with "love" old school!
First gather your ingredients.
This cupcake is filling!
- 1 pound (3 1/4 cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 4 sticks softened unsalted butter, plus more for pans(or cooking spray for pans)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (I just dump some in, I'd add a little over flow)
- 9 large, room-temperature eggs
- 1/2 cup of honey(I used raw)
Preheat oven to 325'.
Get your cupcake trays ready and lined with liners!
Mix Flour and Salt together.
Then in a separate bowel cream sugar and butter together( I did not do this but you
should)
I then added in some honey! about a half cup.
Then combined bowels and this is where love comes in. I use my hands to mix it! A Lot easier! Look at what a little love can get you!
Then after you combined the bowels mix in 3 eggs, then another 3 eggs, and then the final 3 eggs.
I then started to shake the sprinkles in the batter, this was not working. So I popped open the top and dumped it in!
Mix in sprinkles and I like to get my smallest measuring cup to fill the cupcake papers.
I put them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
WaLa we have cupcakes that don't need icing!, be as creative as you'd like!

Crazy For Bargains
Before we know it, Holiday season will be here! One thing that doesn't go out of style are pajamas. Everyone anytime of year will not open a nice set of pajamas and be disappointed. I swear my daughter could have 20 pajamas and the dryer monster would eat 15 of them. Crazy For Bargains offer fun sleepwear for the whole family!
Straight Talk Phones
This post brought to you by Straight Talk. All opinions are 100% mine.
Straight Talk phones give you everything you need in a cell phone. They offer great low monthly plans. Heres the great news, no contract. They offer phones from with touch screen and app capability. Just imagine all the money you would save with buying one of these phones. With monthly cost at about $45.00 for unlimited calls, texts, picture and web messaging.
Maybe you have a kid going off to school, we all know our pockets are broke already from paying for that. Add in a college kid. If you did not pay for their phone bill or they had an affordable phone, you would never talk to them. mom knows best when it comes to kids, so the cheaper and more for your money in a cell phone is what saves mom from a heart attack.
Straight Talk phones are like any other phone but cheaper. They have phones with camera, mp3 players and more. They also include 411 for free with your plan. In the end it all sums up to Hook, line and sinker.

My old phone bill use to be $180.00. If I was paying $45.00 a month with Straight Talk phones, then I would have over 100 to spend on whatever I wanted. That's a pair of shoes, MP3 player, Video game, and so much more. Imagine all the money you could save in a year. No Contracts, Surprise Bill, or credit checks. Did I mention there is no early termination fee. You can call a friend and talk for hours without it costing you a dime, should I say even a penny.

Plasma Car
The Plasma Car is unlike any car. This car holds up to 220lbs on a flat surface and uses the best source of energy "kid energy". This car is one way to a parents good night sleep. This is a toy I thought was cool looking and wish it was around when I was a kid.
We had lots of fun with this toy all day. My daughter loves to sit on it and scoot around. My husband on the other hand who is about 130lbs also enjoys sitting on it! Plasma Car is designed to reach a speed of up to 10 mph. Any girl or boy would love this car! This car can also be carrier to a park. It is not heavy at all and is fairly light. It comes in a few pieces and you do have to assemble it. The assembly is really easy and takes about 3 minutes until play time. I love all the colors that Plasma Car comes in like yellow, pink, red, blue, and more. They are so popular they are sold in over 50 countries. You should be able to find these easily somewhere near you. Click this sentence to find a retailer near you.
I first saw Plasma Cars at Dutch Wonderland. Its a small amusement park near my house that has a set up course and has about say 10 cars all in this enclosed track. The kids all love it and I practically have to drag my crying child out of it. The kids love it. They are just so popular with all the kids. Every kids that comes over for play time, zoom to the Plasma Car.
Here are some colors they come in.
If your looking for a fun, hours of play time toy. This is the right one! not to mention for us parents. It takes the energy out of the kids! We love it and is such a unique toy, I bet it will be the new "must have" for this Christmas! Did I mention it is affordable. So yes, you need to get this toy and have hours of fun watching your kids have fun and secretly knowing, bed time is around the corner from all the drained energy.
Side note! Did I mention how many awards they have been winning. Check it out here!

The newest being lemon Lime Twist and Vanilla! I love both of these. For summer I always love lemon and add in the twist, I am ready for 5:00 O'clock somewhere! I also always enjoy vanilla. My favorite is the Lemon Lime. They both have SPF 15 and all moisturizering lip balms. They can be found at stores such as Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens.
I always enjoy a little twist of flavor in my lip balms but also love the warm vanilla! Fall is just a round the corner and vanilla is becoming a great flavor I am bringing back in my home! I love Carmex and the healthy look my lisp get from using their lip balm. They also have a lip balm with a hint of shine. Fagor
Let me introduce you to this awesome company! They not only make sharp looking appliances but they offer some really great cookware! They are well known for their pressure cookers in all sizes. What I love about Fagor is their cookware sets.
Well I got the Michelle B. By Fagor 10 piece Cookware set. I have to say I love it! I have gone through many pot sets in the last 3 years of moving out of my parents house. This pot and pan set is easily matched to your kitchen in some fun colors like blue, red, black, and lime-green. They are all non-stick cast aluminium. The nonstick coating is really durable and almost scratch resistant. The handles are wrapped in silicone so you can get a great grip on the pan while cooking without burning yourself.
Some great points about this set!
- Metal utensil Friendly
- Every Lid fits on a piece of cookware
- The light interior of the cookware makes it easy to see what you are cooking.
- Perfect for all stove tops like electric or gas.
- Resistant to scratching, abrasions, and wear.
Well when I got this set they were nice and heavy like you'd expect without breaking your hand. The color was wonderful! The high gloss shine and non-stick coating made the pan look new after every use! I have to say the clean up is so easy! I could barley touch the pan and it would look just washed! The pan is amazing and I love cooking with them. I can grad a lid and it will fit like 3 pots! Fagor is worth the money spent to get your own post set if you don't win this one. They will last you a very long time as well.
Some pictures to show how truly non stick this pan is!
Trying to make a dippy egg. I always fail! Not with this pan!
CLEAN UP IS A BREEZE!
Rubbabu
Rubbabu are a really creative toy for children to play all day with. These toys are a handmade natural foam toy. They are made in different shapes, colors, and are super soft. They have balls with different shapes and textures on the balls. Also offer tool sets, cars, and so much more. my daughter just got into puzzles. The puzzles are so great for her to learn and easy for her to use. I myself like to play with the Educational balls. Just fun and feels so soft but not foamy like you'd think. To me they feel like a blow up ball with give and firmness. Easy to squeeze too.
We received the Educational ball assortment and the Mascot Cars. The wheels on the cars are also soft and everything about them entertains my 1 year old and 3 year old. Rubbabu also have a cleanable surface. My daughter spilled milk and mac&cheese on it. I ran it under some water and wiped it, Good as new!
These toys are one of a kind and great for all ages and have so much variety. Get them for school, daycare, home, or a gift. They can be fun for hours when the toys will not get messed up from everyday play!

GP: Kids Opinions of Marriage: What works?
A group of children were asked what is marriage? Here are some of my favorite responses.
Q:How do you decide who to marry?
A:You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
- Alan, age 10
Q;What is the right age to get married?
A:Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
- Camille, age 10
A:No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married.
- Freddie, age 6
Q;How can a stranger tell if two people are married?
A:You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
- Derrick, age 8
Q:What do you think your mom and dad have in common?
A:Both don't want any more kids.
- Lori, age 8
Q:How would the world be different if people didn't get married?
A:There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?
- Kelvin, age 8

GP: What is love? Kids respond.
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love." Rebecca - age 8
"When someone loves you, the way they say your name is different. You know that your name is safe in their mouth." Billy - age 4
"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other." Karl - age 5 One of my favorites!
"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired." Terri - age 4
"Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK." Danny - age 7
"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing, you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and Daddy are like that. They look gross when they kiss." Emily - age 8
"Love is what's in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen." Bobby - age 7
"If you want to learn to love better, you should start with a friend who you hate," Nikka - age 6
"There are two kinds of love. Our love. God's love. But God makes both kinds of them." Jenny - age 8
"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it every day." Noelle - age 7
"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well." Tommy - age 6
"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and I was scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore." Cindy - age 8
"My mommy loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night." Clare - age 6
"Love is when Mommy gives Daddy the best piece of chicken." Elaine - age 5
"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is handsomer than Robert Redford." Chris - age 7
"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day." Mary Ann - age 4
"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones." Lauren - age 4
"When you love somebody, your eyelashes go up and down and little stars come out of you." Karen - age 7
"Love is when Mommy sees Daddy on the toilet and she doesn't think it's gross." Mark - age 6
"You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot. People forget." Jessica - age 8
And the final one -- The purpose of the contest was to find the most caring child. The winner was a four year old child whose next door neighbor was an elderly gentleman who had recently lost his wife. Upon seeing the man cry, the little boy went into the old gentleman's yard, climbed onto his lap, and just sat there. When his Mother asked him what he had said to the neighbor, the little boy said, "Nothing, I just helped him cry." I started tearing up on this one.

GP: Back To School Clothing Tips and Tricks
I like saving money when I can but who doesn’t? Back to School is just around the corner and I have been happy about it but dreading it at the same time. Having all the kids home is driving me a bit batty and the money I am going to be spending on back to school is going to kill my pocket book!
Instead of buying back to school clothes for all my children, it would cost a small fortune; I have some tips to save money on clothing.
1. Hand me downs- Now I know most people like to buy their kids new clothes for back to school. I but hand me downs are wonderful. There are a couple of different sites that I love to get used clothes from and often times they are in amazing condition.
ThredUp! I am addicted to it, I am not afraid to admit it. I have gotten a bad box once in my couple of months on there and I have purchase at least 10 boxes! 1 out of 10 isn’t bad. If you are a bit leery of the box send a message to the seller or comment on the box asking for pictures. This way you can be sure you are getting what you are wanting without having to be surprised.
Another site I love is Yardsellr, they don’t have a ton of there and some stuff is new and custom but if you look through you can find some of the cutest outfits at reasonable prices and there are pictures!
2. Reuse and Embellish- I am the queen of doing this, my mother says I should do it for a living. You know the wonderful applique t-shirts you find on Etsy?
Then I head over to Etsy and begin my search. I search for appliques. Now you will come up with a bunch of already made t-shirts but that’s not what you want. You want the actual iron on appliques, now sew, or if you are a sewer, sew on ones work too. Browse around! They have a bunch of them and they are all different. Some of the cutest designs I find are from Big Black Dog Designs and From the Heart Creations. These are just a couple of my recent purchases from these sellers. Aren’t they adorable?
Now I will warn you, if you aren’t careful you can end up spending a small fortune on them. I have done that before. I spent about $20 for all the appliques and shipping. About the same as what I would have spent on 1 shirt or maybe an outfit. Be careful when you choose them as well. Not all sellers do a wonderful job on them like these two sellers. Always check the picture for signs of hanging threads and discolored fabric before buying from a seller. Once you get them in the mail, take the t-shirts and make sure they are washed and ironed. I know I hate ironing as well. They follow the directions and iron them on. Presto new outfit, unique, and easy to do without spending a fortune!
If you don’t have any good condition t-shirts head over to Wal-Mart or Old Navy and get some solid color ones for cheap. You can also do this with jeans as well! My daughter loves to embellish her jeans after I iron on the appliques and then she adds puffy paint. It gives them much more style and flair and its fun!
The best part about this method is there are always a bunch of school parties for V-day, Halloween and Christmas. Just get a solid color shirt and a cute applique and you don't have to spend a bunch of money on an outfit just for one occasion.
