Women Bean Project review/giveaw

The women's bean project is pretty amazing! They do so much to help and encourage women to do better for themselves!

They have been here since 1989. Their mission is to to change women's lives by providing stepping stones to self-sufficiency through social enterprise. 

The women hired at the Bean Project have histories of poverty and unemployment; they lack hope and self-confidence; most do not have a GED or high school diploma; most are single mothers and have been on public assistance; many are recovering from experiences with substance abuse and incarceration.

Women become affiliated with the company many different ways! They also sell their products to hire these women, not for the profit. They give these women a stepping stone to walk on. Guidance in a hard situation, courage to over come, and strength to proceed! 

They are given the tools to better themselves. Become someone to be proud of! Someone for their kids to look up too. 

I am so glad I found this company, they do such generous things!

NEAT FACT: They got their name "bean" because they started out by selling bean soups! 

Their products that they sell are from gourmet food, gift baskets, and handmade jewelry! All the basket are packed nicely and signed with whoms  name prepared it! Such a nice little touch! 

I received the medium gourmet gift basket. It has all kinds of goodies! Salsa mix, bean soup, cookies. I am so excited to make my cookies! I got a gift that gives back! That's what this whole project it for right! So I was happy to pick that category! 

There is so much to this company and their great efforts! It would be well worth money to buy any of their gifts! While the gift basket I received was made with love and very nice! I wish it had maybe a bit more color! It's such a happy and great thing that's being done, that it needs more the just earth ton colors! I love those colors, but just needs some brightening up!

I really enjoyed working with this company and wish them and their workers the best of luck in the future!
